Chick*n & Bac*n Burger

This juicy, tangy, crunchy, delicious burger is just what you need to satisfy those cravings. A guaranteed win for any social occasion- The kids will love it too!



2x Burger Buns
4x Next Bac*N Style Strips
½ Pack Next Chick*N Chunks
2 Slices Vegan Cheese
1 Red Onion
1 Tomato
Shredded Lettuce

Fried Chick*N Coating

½ Cup Plant-Based Milk 
2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Cup Flour
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
½ Tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
½ Tsp Cayenne Powder
½ Tsp Salt
Vegetable Oil For Frying

Sriracha Mayo

4 Tbsp Or ¼ Cup Vegan Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Sriracha


  1. Combine the milk and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes or until it curdles and thickens. This is vegan buttermilk.

  2. Add your Chick*n chunks to the buttermilk mixture, coating the chick*n. Leave to sit whilst preparing the dry ingredients.

  3. In a small bowl mix together flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne and salt.

  4. Dunk the soaked chick*n chunks into the flour mixture, and roll around, completely covering each individual chick*n piece.

  5. Heat oil in a pan (the oil can be as deep as the chic*n, or more shallow if you constantly turn the pieces) and place the chick*n pieces in when hot enough to sizzle.

  6. When Golden-brown, remove chick*n pieces from the oil and allow to drain on a paper towel.

  7. Meanwhile, fry NEXT! Bac*n slices in a pan with 1-2 tbsp of oil. Remove when desired crispiness is reached and drain on a paper towel.

  8. Combine vegan mayonnaise with sriracha sauce in a small dish.

  9. Assemble your awesome burgers! Add whatever lettuce/tomato/vegetable you want to make it just how you like it.
